This week in PR Pubs was exciting but completely foreign to me. On Tuesday, we went to the cage in Gaylord where you can rent out cameras and other equipment. The man who worked there showed our class how to work the cameras we rented out. It was a learning experience because I had never used such a nice camera before. On Thursday, we put our new camera training to the test. I was partnered with Bailey from class and we each interviewed each other. It was interesting to hear about how passionate she was about mission work. It was something that really struck home with me because mission work is also such a huge part of my life. I found out how much Bailey and I had in common with our interests and of course our majors. It was cool to learn more about a classmate I probably would've never gotten to know without this assignment. I would consider her a friend now which is awesome especially since were both pursuing the same degree. I'm excited to edit the footage we got this past week and put it all together into a video. It will be a bit bumpy, but I'm looking forward to gaining more experience in using Adobe Premiere. Now that I've used such a high tech camera I would definitely consider myself a "professional".
