Influencers are becoming huge in today's social media realm. Social media users are looking to influencers for advice on what products to buy instead of celebrities or traditional advertisements. Below I'm going to tell you why every brand should be using influencers from here on out.
1. Users trust influencers more than celebrities Today's social media users are more likely to trust an influencer on the products they recommend rather than celebrities. This is because often relate to these influencers and they're just average people. 2. Influencers will try your product for free Many influencers are willing to try your product for free and talk about your product for no cost. That means free advertising for your company. 3. Influencers are becoming more influential on consumers than traditional advertisements Statistics show that 40% of people say they’ve purchased an item online after seeing it used by an influencer on Instagram, Twitter, Vine, or YouTube (Twitter and Annalect, 2016). Influencers are showing a great return on investment for many brands they are working with. 4. Consumers are done with paid advertisements Consumers are sick of seeing paid advertisements on their social media timelines. Using influencers is a great way to have a nontraditional form of advertisements but still getting a higher retention rate. 5. Helps your Search Engine Optimization The more people talking about your brand the higher you rank on Google's search engine. This can lead to increase in sales and brand awareness.
